DreamLeague Season 7 Odds See Team Liquid Victory

July 7, 2017

The DreamLeague Season 7 LAN Finals is just around the corner. This event will be on July 21 and 22 at the DreamHack Atlanta.

Team Liquid, Team Secret, and Vega Squadron from the EU division have qualified for the finals. The only team to qualify from the NA division is Planet Odd.

Esports team odds

Bitcoin sportsbook Bet365 has the outright market for the DreamLeague LAN finals. Team Liquid is the current favored team with 1.90 odds. Following them is Team Secret with 3.75 odds. Surprisingly, the winner of the NA division has only 5.50 odds of winning the finals. Vega Squadron takes the backseat of the bus with 9.00.

Despite placing second in the EU division with nine wins and five losses, Team Liquid has the favored odds among the four finalists. The team is a legend in the esports scene. The team started as a dedicated Starcraft Brood War group and has ended up as a successful eSports team that has tackled various competitive games.

The Dota 2 division of Team Liquid has participated in various competitions across the globe and has gained significant victories last year. Two of which is the Shanghai Major and ESL One Manila where the team took second place in both events. The team took 1st place for the second time at the EPICENTER event in Moscow.

The other team that can match up to Team Liquid is Team Secret. The team was once a group of former members of other esports team which they formed after the International 2014 event.

Meanwhile, Team Secret barely had any significant achievements last year. There is also an internal conflict with the team’s former manager regarding the player’s payment. Despite this, the team has the potential to win this year’s DreamLeague. It should be noted that the team won against Team Liquid during the Shanghai Major and has recently taken the first place in the EU Division in this DreamLeague season.

The team that bettors should not ignore is Planet Odd. It has only been around since May 2017. Despite this, the team took the NA division of the DreamLeague Season 7 without losing a round. Planet Odd could be the wild horse in the tournament that might give both favored teams a run for their money in the finals.

DreamLeague LAN Finals

The final part of the DreamLeague season will have the Semifinals, Winner’s Finals, and Grand Finals. Two teams that lose the Semifinals can compete in the Loser’s Round where the winner will move on to the Loser’s Finals. The loser of the Winner’s Finals can still compete against the winner of the Loser’s Round. The winner of the Loser’s Finals will compete against the winner of the Winner’s Finals for the Grand Finals.

The format of the semifinals and winners’ finals will be double elimination best out of three. The Grand Finals, on the other hand, will be a best out of five and no upper bracket advantage.  Those engaged in esports Bitcoin betting should take note of the format and the odds for the favored teams.
